Women's Health: Resource Crisis Center

Partnering with the Resource & Crisis Ceneter of Galveston County (RCC) gives students the chance to participate in trauma-informed care while supporting survivors of violence and crisis. The experience helps build empathy, communication, and advocacy skills that are not only important when working with vulnerable populations but are also valuable in caring for any patient population. Students also gain a deeper understanding of how social drivers of health and community resources shape holistic patient care.
